Independence regained, after mobility scooter theft

On the 27th October two of Brunelcare’s housing tenants, Arthur Panes and Brian James, were devastated when thieves stole and burnt their mobility scooters from outside their homes.

However, it is a relief to be able share that this news has now reached a heart-warming and happy conclusion this week!

Since appealing publically via the local media about this callous theft, new mobility scooters have been donated to Arthur and Brian.

Brunelcare has also been busy working to support Arthur, Brian and their families to ensure that the new scooters can be stored in a new lockable facility on site along with investing money on a new ramp for easy access to the lockable store.

About his new scooter, Arthur says:

“It’s a lovely scooter. I’m feeling a bit better. Thank you. I’m so grateful to everyone.”
