Brunelcare's Clevedon Day Centre has moved - and is now based within the town’s Elm View nursing home, located at Moor Lane, Clevedon.
Our Day Centre, which has been running for over 15 years, provides a warm and welcoming place to meet new people, and specialises in helping older people who may feel isolated in their own homes. Offering a range of activities, including reminiscence, craft, quizzes and day trips, the service is run by a team of skilled and caring staff, and transport and a two course lunch are provided every day.
Brunelcare’s Day Centre Manager, Maddy Norman, said:
“The lease on our previous venue was up, so this new partnership with Elm View has provided us with a fantastic new space from which to continue providing our valuable service to local people, in particular those living with dementia.”
Elm View Home Manager, Heather Squires, said:
“When we heard that the day centre were looking for a new home, we saw it as a perfect opportunity to build great new partnership with Brunelcare. Not only can their service users benefit, but our residents will also have the opportunity to participate in activities too.”
Maddy continues:
“We’ve been made to feel so welcome, and we’re already organising a joint coffee morning and even a fete!”
